UK Vegan Bikers was born as UK Vegan and Vegetarian Bikers in December 2016.
The original Facebook private group was founded by Al & Cassie Ryder, both stunt riders at the time performing as Stunted Reality.
Eventually it was decided as a joint decision with Bruce, moderator of the group since the early days, to change the group to UK Vegan Bikers. Members of the group were consulted and voted overwhelmingly in favour of the change.
Eventually as time moved on, Al & Cassie's circumstances changed and they had less and less time to deal with the group, so they opted to pass the group on to Bruce's capable hands.
Since then, Bruce has diversified the UKVB brand in to public Facebook and Instagram pages, as well as the YouTube channel.
The private group has gone from strength to strength, with current membership as of February 2024 standing at 1.3k members from all walks of life. .
